State Bank of India (SBI) has notified for the recruitment of 2313 Probationary Officer (PO) vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online from 7th February 2017 to 6th March 2017.

Age Limit: Age of candidates should be between 21 and 30 years (must have been born not earlier than 02-04-1987 and not later than 01-04-1996) as on 1st April 2017. Age relaxation on upper limit is applicable by 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD, 5 years for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen & Others candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. (As on 1st July 2017). Last year Graduation students can also apply. They must produce the qualification certificate at the time of interview, if selected.
 
Selection Process: Selection will be based on online Preliminary Examination and Main Examination, Group Exercises, Interview. Priliminary exam will be conducted on April 29, 30, May 6 and 7. After that, shortlisted candidates will be selected for main exam. After that Group Excercises and interviews will be conducted. Selected candidates will have 2 years of probation.
Those general group candidates who have already written the exam for SBI PO posts  for 4 times need not apply. For OBC and PWD the limit is 7. This limitation is not applicable for SC/ST candidates.

Application Fee: 

Rs. 600/- for General and Others.
Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. Candidates can pay the fee online by using Internet Banking, Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.statebankofindia.com/careers or www.sbi.co.in/careers from 7th February 2017 to 6th March 2017. Candidates must have a valid email id, scanned copies of passport size photo and signature. After submitting the form, Keep the  printout of application form and receipt of the fee paid for future use.
