Oriental Insurance Limited Invites applications for the posts of Administrative Officers in Scale I.

Applications are invited for the post of Administrative Officers in Oriental Insurance Limited. There are 477 vacancies in total.

Administrative Officers (Scale - I) :- 477 Posts 

 

Rs. 17240 - 32640/Month

 

Age should be 21 - 30 Years (OBC - 33 Years, SC/ST - 35 Years, PWD - 40 Years))

 

 

Group A (Actuaries) - 60 % in UG and Pass in at least 4 papers held of the exam conducted by Actuarial Society of India, 

OR, 

PG (in Maths/Stats/Actuarial Science) with at least 55 % Marks.

Group B (Marketing)- MBA (in Marketing/Sales) with at least 55 % Marks, 

Group C (HR) - MBA (in HR) with at least 55 % Marks,

Group D (I.T.) - B.E. / B.TECH. with at least 60 % Marks, 

OR, 

MCA/MIT/MCM with at least 55 % Marks,

Group E (Accounts) - ACA/ACWS/ACS with at least 60% Marks 

OR,

M.COM. with at least 55 % Marks.

Group F (Legal) - 60 % in Bachelor of Law or 55% Marks in LLM (3 Yrs. Exp required and 2 Yrs for SC/ST),

Group G (Engineers) - 60 % in Graduation in Engineering and 55% in Maters in Engineering in any of Elec/Mech/Civil/Chemical,

Group H (Librarian) - 60 % in Bachelor Or 55 % in Masters in any of Library Science / Information Science Documentation (3 Yrs. Exp required and 2 Yrs for SC/ST), .

Group I (Generalist) - 60 % in UG OR PG with at least 55 % Marks.

 

** Note :- For SC/ST Required Percentage is 55% in UG and 50% in PG.

 

Selection Procedure

Selection will be made on the basis of written test and Interview. Written exam will consist of one Objective and one Descriptive paper.

 

Objective exam will consist of Reasoning, English language, Numerical Ability and General awareness (Only for Posts in Group - I). Professional knowledge test - for the posts under Group A to H (instead of General awareness test).

The Descriptive test will comprising of Essay, Précis & Comprehension etc.

Candidates will get an Interview call on the basis of performance in written examination. Final selection will be made on overall performance in written examination and interview.

 

**Note that nothing has been said about Negative marking.

On Final Selection, Successful candidates will be on probation for one year and will sign a bond of Four years.
